A well-designed extension can completely change how you use your space — opening the kitchen onto the garden, adding a master suite above, or finally giving the family a real dining table to sit around.
We specialise in single and double-storey rear extensions, side returns, wrap-arounds and porch additions. Every project starts with a free site visit so we can understand what you actually need before anything gets drawn up. From there we manage planning, building control, structural engineering, and the build itself — so you only ever have one team to call.
We work on properties from 1930s semis through Victorian terraces to modern detached homes, and we're comfortable with sympathetic builds that match the original house as well as bold contemporary additions in render, brick, timber or zinc.

Design and drawings
Architectural drawings, structural calculations, and a 3D visualisation so you can see what you're getting before we break ground.
Planning and building control
Full planning application support where required, plus building control sign-off and Part L compliance.
Foundations and structure
Trial holes, footings, steelwork, blockwork and roof structure — engineered to last and certified at every stage.
Weatherproof shell
External walls, roofing, guttering, windows and external doors. We hand back a sealed, watertight extension before any internal work begins.
Fit-out and finishes
Plastering, electrics, plumbing, flooring, decoration. Optional kitchen and bathroom installation if we're handling those rooms too.
Snagging and handover
Full snag list, deep clean, and a 10-year workmanship guarantee on everything we've built.

Common questions
- How long does a typical extension take?
- A single-storey rear extension usually runs 10–14 weeks on site. Double-storey or wrap-arounds are typically 14–20 weeks. Planning, drawings and building control sign-off add 8–16 weeks before we start. We give you a written schedule with every quote.
- Do I need planning permission?
- Many extensions fall under permitted development and don't need full planning. We'll check at your free site visit and tell you straight away. If we do need planning, we handle the whole application for you.
- How much does an extension cost?
- Costs depend heavily on size, finish and groundworks. As a rough guide, a single-storey rear extension in Kent typically starts at around £2,200 per square metre for a high-spec finish. We give you a detailed fixed-price quote after the site visit — no hidden extras.
- Will you work to my architect's drawings?
- Absolutely. If you already have an architect we're happy to price and build to their drawings. If not, we have architects we work with regularly and can manage the whole design phase too.
- Are you insured and guaranteed?
- Yes — full public liability, employer's liability, and a 10-year workmanship guarantee on every project. We're also covered by our trade body memberships.
